Vivek brings in domain expertise in oncology and virology along with his vast experience working in the life science consulting industry. Prior to being in Deallus, he worked as an Associate Director at WNS Global Services, providing strategic decision support to the top management of major pharmaceutical companies. Vivek carried-out his postdoctoral research in Cellular Immunology from Chicago Medical School, US. He completed his Ph.D. in Viral Oncology from Hannover Medical School (MHH), Germany and M.Sc. in Microbial Gene Technology from Madurai Kamaraj University, India. He further, successfully pursued an executive management program in Business Analytics from Indian Institute of Management (IIM-C), India.

What do you consider your strengths?

As a professional with 10+ years in pharma/life science consulting and having post-doctoral research experience, I present subject matter expertise in oncology, immunology and virology. I have been responsible for end-to-end execution, leading teams and client engagement for multiple projects ranging from CI deep-dive and monitoring, primary CI market research and multiple conference coverage. I believe my academic learnings and vast consulting experience offers a unique amalgamation of skills to work on challenging projects in today’s fast paced and dynamic life science market.

I enjoy weekend bike rides with my family, that allows me to explore and appreciate nature. I enjoy travelling and like to cherish experiences at any new destination. I have a strong penchant for travel photography which gives me immense joy in capturing candid memories. I do prefer to unwind at times listening to music and indulging in reading.
